Baby Boomers and the cold
I don't know about the rest of you, but I can't handle the cold weather like I use to. It is cold here in Texas and 18 other states I believe. The temperature right now is 17 degrees and will be around 10 degrees tonight. Now being originally from California, that's cold. So bundle up in your long johns, hats, coats, furs and turn the heaters up. Our bodies can't take it.

You are so right..Californians are not used to this cold weather. Here in Longview Texas, our hot water pipes in the kitchen are frozen, we have the heater going full blast, walking outside is not an option because I'd be weighted down with scarf, gloves, face covered hat, two pair of pants, three sweaters, ....you get the picture. Therefore, because of my commitment to walk, I walk inside with my stepometer. Brrrrr
We make a big deal about the cold weather when it's 38 degrees here in CA. I can't even imagine 17 degrees.
